Sturgeon fishing has been good over the last couple of weeks. some days the bite is aggressive and other days it is lite. the baits of choice have been Eulachon, Lamprey Eel and Salmon roe. These baits have been steady with good, consistent results.
The nice sunny days have been followed by several days of rain and cooler temperatures. This has kept the river in great spring shape. The water level have not changed much and there has been not much for debris flows yet. as the overnight temperatures around the province start to stay above freezing we will see the river levels start to rise drastically and see the debris in the water like we are expecting. Its only a matter of time but the river is continuing to be in great shape and we are taking advantage of this with great results.
